Excellent! I rented a fishing pole to use at my resort located far from Panglao. Panglao Fishing staff are extremely accommodating. They helped me with tutorials, knots, lures, bait, etc. I was able to get advice and recommendations even after renting via WhatsApp. Highly recommended.

Day started well before the wind picked up, making jigging near impossible. Did not end up catching any fish. After the trip was over, the owner drove us back to the hotel and provided me with two shore rods and bait, which I was allowed to use for the rest of the day for no extra charges.
